In the summer of 2019, hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamas. Forty of our employees were affected on the islands of Freeport and Abaco.
In Miami, every staff member of Americaribe rallied to the cause straight away. We absolutely didn’t want to be seen as privileged Americans making ourselves scarce at the first sign of trouble. We were determined to do everything in our power to protect and help them. But it had to be done properly: we needed to provide aid directly, as effectively and fairly as possible. So we decided to organise everything ourselves.
