Hurricane Irma left the Little Gosling nursery school in ruins, disrupting the lives of the children who went there because no other nursery schools could accommodate them all. Two other nursery schools were also damaged:
Discover Kidz and Lighthouse.
It was a worrying time for the youngsters and their parents, nursery schools had to be repaired as soon as possible.
Bouygues Construction Sint Maarten and the charity SXM DOET joined forces to help them.

Stronger together, we could move mountains! The buildings were renovated and the equipment required was collected: a laptop, a television, an air-conditioning unit, toys, a synthetic lawn and wrapping for the posts in the outdoor play area. What a relief: everything was ready! The nursery schools could welcome back the children who were delighted to get back to their old routine.
